Because it's my Life
Art is my life...litterally. I grew up around my mother creating art and over time she passed the knowledge to me. I know sounds really cheesy. But, it's true. I came to MCA because I felt I needed to. I figured MCA would be a great place to back up what I already knew and would allow me to learn more to expand my career as an artist. Memphis, the city itself, aided in attracting me to the school. I like the feel of the city and the artistic life it creates within itself. I'm majoring in sculpture. I may not be the best in it yet, but it is something I love to do and I can easily apply it to future projects in the field i am persuing. I want to be an interior designer and sculpture, for function or beauty and a combination of both, is a large part of interior design. After I obtain my BFA, I want to get my MFA, preferably in New Orleans, and major in interior design at which ever school I choose (or chooses me).

Good post. And I especially like the title of your blog. Quite clever, and very appropriate.
